What a Boat Bag Needs

On a boat, bags sit in bilge water, get hit by spray and take salt. Choose welded PVC or TPU with corrosion-resistant buckles and D-rings, a base that wipes clean, and attachment points so the bag can be secured. Large roll-top bags of 60 to 100 litres hold crew gear and spare clothing; smaller dry bags keep phones and documents safe.

Every order passes through incoming material inspection (IQC), in-process checks during welding and sewing (IPQC) and final inspection (OQC), with SGS or QIMA third-party inspection available on request. Our test programme covers seam tensile and bonding strength, load testing of 1,500+ cycles, zipper testing to 3,000 cycles, salt spray on hardware, abrasion, and colour fastness and colour difference against the approved sample. Waterproof ratings are verified on the bag itself: a heavy rain and water-jet test for IPX5 and IPX6 models and a full water-immersion test of 2+ hours for IPX7 and IPX8 models.
